Is the 9 Euro ticket working?

In order to tackle inflation, the German government recently launched a nationwide initiative, enabling everyone to travel on public transport for €9 per month until the end of summer.

Teralytics has done an analysis of the initiative’s impact since its introduction on the 1st of June 2022. We will continue to monitor its impact over the summer and into the fall, keen to understand whether it may prove to have a lasting effect.
